Organ shortage is a global problem. In oder to solve the phenomenon, it has been explored the transplanting organs from transgenic animals into human body, stem cell therapy, and etc. in the cutting-edge biotechnology field. Although the regenerative research field has developed for a long time, those technologies have to overcome ethical concerns, such as violations of human dignity, as well as biomedical barriers including safety. However, it is emphasized that three-dimensional bioprinting(3D bioprinting) technology can produce human organs and tissues while avoiding the fundamental controversies. Those reasons carry over to the remarkable achievement in 3D bioprinting area. Most of all, 3D bioprinting organs is not a human biospecimen but it is derived from the human body. In this point, 3D bioprinting organs is significant in that it provides a new approach to study the conflicts of rights and/or to convergence plan for the commercialization of identity marks and traditional moral personality right. Therefore, this paper analyzes the legal issues of 3D bioprinting technologies and provides appropriate solutions before commercializing the 3D bioprinting organs and tissues.
